Azma International provides access to quality healthcare to under-served and vulnerable communities in developing countries.
We provide direct medical services, medical supplies and basic health education, through Medical, Dental and Eye care mission trips. Our free clinics and basic instruction in disease prevention, nutrition and hygiene have substantially changed the quality of life of the people we serve.
Our goal is to travel to the places where people need the most urgent care, often times to some pretty remote locations.By volunteering in our mission clinics, you help provide free access to health care and health education to the less fortunate who would otherwise get no medical care.
Mission trips are available throughout the year for groups and individual applicants. If our pre-scheduled dates don’t work for your group, or you are looking for a trip exclusively for your group, we will custom design a trip that meets your groups needs and convenience. We would love to have you join us on a mission trip, where you can help save lives in underserved communities and make a difference!
Azma International has developed partnerships with local health providers, leaders, community workers and organizations in the Kenya, Peru and Guatemala. We work together to identify and address underlying causes of ill health, which helps increase our mission clinics chances of impact tremendously.
Our mission clinics serve people with various life threatening and life changing health conditions. Most of the time, the clinics we bring to these communities are their only chance to see a doctor!
We partner with local health providers, students and volunteers from around the world, to work in mission clinics primarily in Kenya, Peru and Guatemala. Teaming up with local professionals and community workers ensures follow-up care for our patients, after the visiting team departs.
Whether you’re a doctor, nurse, dentist, optometrist, medical assistant, phlebotomist, pharmacist, or work in any other health care field, we need you. We encourage volunteers non-medical backgrounds to join our teams and assist in the many crucial positions in clinics. From patient registration to interpreters, we have many non-medical positions for you in our each mission.
Azma International’s mission teams bring with them a wide array of skills and experiences. When you arrive at your mission clinic, you will see first-hand the positive impact that you have on the people there.
